On Tuesday, May 12, warm but unstable weather is expected in Ukraine. In most regions, daytime temperatures will rise to 18–23°C, but some areas will experience rain and thunderstorms. The most severe weather conditions are forecast for Zakarpattia and the Carpathians, where heavy rain is expected. On the Right Bank, thunderstorms and squalls of 15–20 m/s are possible during the day. This is reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
Where will there be rain and thunderstorms on May 12?
According to the forecast, Tuesday in Ukraine will be cloudy with some sunny intervals.
The heaviest precipitation is expected:
- in Zakarpattia;
- in the Carpathians;
- on the Right Bank of Ukraine—moderate rain and thunderstorms will occur in some areas during the day.
No significant precipitation is forecast for the rest of Ukraine. Winds will be predominantly southerly, 7–12 m/s.

Yellow danger level declared
Due to deteriorating weather conditions, a Level I (yellow) hazard alert has been issued in Ukraine.
According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, heavy rain is expected on May 12 in Zakarpattia and the Carpathians, and thunderstorms are expected during the day on the Right Bank, with squalls of 15–20 m/s in some areas.
Forecasters warn that such weather conditions may complicate the work of energy, construction, and utility companies, as well as traffic.
