A record amount was collected for the budget in June: The Ministry of Finance identified the main sources

In June, nearly 434 billion hryvnias were received by the general fund of the state budget. Funds received in the form of grants—more than 214 billion—became a significant source of revenue. This was reported by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"

In June 2026, the general fund of the state budget received 433.9 billion hryvnias in the form of taxes, fees, and other mandatory payments.

Revenues from the State Tax Service amounted to 130.6 billion hryvnias, while payments from the State Customs Service totaled 78 billion hryvnias.

Another source of revenue was funds received by Ukraine in the form of international aid (grants) totaling 214.2 billion hryvnias.

How much money was received by the budget in June

According to preliminary data from the Ministry of Finance, budget revenues for June were distributed as follows:

  • 65.3 billion hryvnia — unified social contribution.
  • 564.2 billion hryvnias — total revenues to the general and special funds;
  • 433.9 billion hryvnias — revenues to the general fund;
  • 214.2 billion UAH — international grant aid;

International grants brought in 214.2 billion UAH

Funds from international partners were one of the key sources of revenue for the general fund in June.

Ukraine received grants totaling 214.2 billion UAH.

This represents nearly half of the General Fund’s total revenue for the month. When compared to the fund’s total revenue of 433.9 billion UAH, grant support accounts for approximately 49%.

How much the government spent in May

General Fund expenditures of the state budget in May 2026 amounted to 449.3 billion UAH.

From January through May, total cash expenditures reached approximately 1.8 trillion UAH.

May expenditures exceeded the revenues of some previous months, which is explained by significant needs in defense, social services, and government operations during the war.
