Ukrposhta has delivered more than 20,000 calls for military service: letters are sent to the addresses listed in the Reserve or Oberig systems. This was announced by Ukrposhta CEO Ihor Smelyansky in an interview with Ukrainian Radio, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

According to him, summonses to persons liable for military service are no different from court summonses, documents or fines for traffic violations delivered by Ukrposhta.

Smelyansky noted that the quality of delivery of the summons clearly correlates with the quality of the address provided in the “Reserve” or “Oberig” system.

“By the way, there is even an address – Melitopol. It is clear that now, unfortunately, we cannot deliver the summons there. But I hope that, thanks to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, sooner or later we will be able to do so. So yes, we are sending them out. Each summons is strictly controlled, they are all numbered and protected. That is, it is an envelope that protects the personal data of a future conscript, everything is clearly monitored, we track it every day,” he said.

It should be noted that the government has approved new forms of two types of calls.

It is known that summonses can be issued either on a letterhead or through the electronic register of conscripts, persons liable for military service and reservists Oberig. At the same time, summonses on a blank form and those generated in the Oberig register will have the same legal force.

What the new type of summons should contain

Position title, full name and surname, signature of the official who issued the summons and the date of signature – for summonses issued on letterhead.

The surname and full name of the head of the district (city) CCC or its department, the date of application of a qualified electronic signature – for summonses generated using the Unified State Register of Conscripts, Persons Liable for Military Service and Reservists.

A summons generated using the Oberig Register contains a unique electronic identifier in the form of a QR code. A summons generated using the Oberig Register may be printed. In this case, its paper form must contain a readable QR code with the relevant information.
