Oleksandr Urin, Director General of Okhmatdyt, stated in an interview with the "Komersant Ukrainian" YouTube channel that the hospital’s renovation is proceeding under close supervision and in accordance with the principles of transparency.
According to him, a special body was established under the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to coordinate the work:
“A Reconstruction Council was established under the Ministry of Health. Its meetings are still ongoing, as we select the best approach for rebuilding our main buildings.”
Urin emphasized that all procurement is carried out through the state-run ProZorro system, which allows the public to monitor the process.

The hospital director also emphasized that the team regularly reports on the progress of the reconstruction:
“We report on social media and give interviews because we strive to be as transparent as possible.”
At the same time, he acknowledged that the main problem remains the speed of the work, especially given public expectations following the events of August 2024:
“There’s a triangle—time, quality, and money. And you have to choose two out of three. Right now, time is what’s suffering the most.”
According to Urin, the delays are caused by a number of objective factors related to the war and electricity issues, among other things.
