Ukraine plans to introduce a new pay scale and financial support system for military personnel. Specifically, the base monthly pay for enlisted personnel could be as high as 30,000 hryvnia. According to People’s Deputy Oleksiy Honcharenko, this is outlined in the draft contracts for new service agreements previously announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, which have begun to be distributed to military personnel, reports "Komersant Ukrainian".
An annual signing bonus of 27,000 hryvnias is also proposed, along with an additional monthly payment of 10,000 hryvnias upon signing the contract.
Separate payments are provided for the completion of combat missions. In particular, a payment of 250,000 hryvnias is offered for taking an enemy prisoner, and 25,000 hryvnias for eliminating an enemy.

In addition, the draft contracts mention payments for capturing positions—40,000 hryvnias per day, for retaking positions—20,000 hryvnias per day, as well as 8,700 hryvnias for performing tasks on the front lines.
Contract Terms
According to the MP, one-year contracts are exclusively for active-duty service members (serving in a combat company).
Contracts with a term of 2 years or more are available to all categories of military personnel and civilians.
It is proposed that contracts be signed in three stages:
In the first stage, with military personnel of the main combat units of combat military units up to and including the company level (mechanized, motorized infantry, assault, airborne assault, marine, special operations, etc.);
In the second stage, with military personnel from combat military units not included in the first stage, as well as in military units of the Navy, Air Force, Air Defense Forces, aviation, Air Defense Forces, and Radio Technical Forces;
In the third stage, military personnel from military command and control bodies, logistics, support, and medical units, technical training centers and special forces, military academies, and others.
In addition, it is proposed to grant the right to defer mobilization after discharge to those servicemen who have signed a contract for two or more years, with the calculation being one month of combat duty equaling three months of deferment.
