The euro and the zloty have risen in value: exchange rates as of June 30

The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official exchange rates for Tuesday, June 30, 2026. After a slight decline, the U.S. dollar remained near the 44.85 UAH mark, while the euro and the Polish zloty rose in value. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing data from the National Bank of Ukraine.

Compared to the previous banking day, the dollar fell by about one kopeck. The euro gained about four kopecks, and the zloty rose by about one kopeck.

The NBU’s official exchange rates as of June 30

On Tuesday, the National Bank set the following official exchange rates:

  • 1 U.S. dollar — 44.8478 UAH;
  • 1 euro — 51.1669 UAH;
  • 1 Polish zloty — 11.9340 UAH;
  • 1 pound sterling — 59.3426 UAH;
  • 1 Swiss franc — 55.4978 UAH.

What Happened to the Dollar Exchange Rate

The official dollar exchange rate as of June 30 is 44.8478 UAH.

Rounded to two decimal places, that’s 44.85 UAH per dollar. Compared to the previous banking day, the U.S. dollar depreciated by approximately one kopeck.

Thus, by the end of June, the dollar’s value had remained virtually unchanged. Fluctuations remained minimal and do not indicate any sharp movements in the currency market.

The euro continued to appreciate

The official euro exchange rate as of June 30 was set at 51.1669 UAH.

After rounding, this is 51.17 UAH per euro. The European currency gained about four kopecks over the course of the day.

Changes in the euro-to-hryvnia exchange rate depend not only on the situation in the Ukrainian foreign exchange market. Its value is also influenced by the euro-to-dollar exchange rate on international markets.

Therefore, the euro may appreciate in Ukraine even on a day when the dollar exchange rate remains virtually unchanged or declines slightly.

How much is the Polish zloty worth?

The official exchange rate of the Polish zloty as of June 30 is 11.9340 UAH.

After rounding, one zloty is worth 11.93 UAH. Compared to the previous day, the Polish currency has appreciated by approximately one kopeck.

The zloty exchange rate is particularly important for Ukrainians who work or study in Poland; receive remittances from abroad; travel to Poland; buy goods in Polish stores; or pay rent or for services in zlotys.
