Salaries at the TCC: How Much Do Civilians Earn at Recruitment Centers?

13 April 01:16

In Ukraine, employees of territorial recruitment and social support centers are divided into three categories: military personnel, civil servants, and civilian staff. Salaries for each group are calculated according to separate principles.

News.LIVE reports on how much employees who are neither military personnel nor civil servants earn at the TCCs, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

How salaries are calculated for TCC and SP employees

In response to a request from News.LIVE, the Main Communications Directorate of the Armed Forces of Ukraine explained that during martial law, salaries for TCC employees are calculated using coefficients of 2 or 1.5, depending on the center’s location.

In addition, employees in support roles (cleaners, mechanics, electricians, etc.) are entitled to monthly allowances for working under special conditions:

  • 100% of the salary — in areas of active combat operations;
  • 50% of the salary — in areas of potential combat operations.

How much do TCC and SP employees earn “net”?

The amount of employees’ salaries depends on the region where the recruitment center is located. In the rear, after taxes and deductions, employees receive the following amounts:

  • service staff — from 17,211 UAH to 25,502 UAH per month;
  • cleaners, security guards, boiler room operators — 7,809–9,628 UAH;
  • mechanics and electricians — 9,225–10,055 UAH;
  • military registration inspector — 9,934–10,787 UAH.

In the TCC and SP in areas of active combat operations:

  • service staff — 34,977–47,237 UAH;
  • office cleaners and boiler room operators — 11,568–12,325 UAH.

In areas of potential combat operations:

  • service staff — 28,690–37,449 UAH;
  • cleaners, security guards, and boiler room operators — 9,491–11,149 UAH;
  • mechanics and electricians — 13,500–14,530 UAH;
  • military registration inspector — 11,705–12,590 UAH.

Salaries for military personnel at the TCC are calculated using the same principle as the pay for soldiers on the front lines. For civil servants—as for other employees—salaries are determined in accordance with the pay system established by law.
