Zhdanov on Russian planes near Minsk: “This is not 2022. Ukraine is ready to respond to provocations from Belarus”

Over the past two days, two Russian MiG-31K aircraft capable of carrying Kinzhal hypersonic missiles have arrived in Belarus for deployment. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the analytical project Belaruski Gayun,
“One aircraft landed yesterday and today in Machulishchi, an airbase of the Belarusian Air Force located south of Minsk. The distance from this base to the border with Ukraine is up to 300 km.
According to the expert, the likelihood of the arrival of “Daggers” from Belarus is still quite low.

“Belarus does not have any Daggers in service. According to intelligence, there were about 50 of them in Russia recently, but after the fire at the missile terminal, their number may be much lower,”

He attributes the appearance of new Russian planes in Belarus to intimidation of Ukraine, including in terms of forcing it to negotiate. However, nothing can be ruled out.
“However, I do not rule out the possibility that Lukashenko may allow strikes from his territory. But we will respond, it will not be like in 2022,”
