Attack in Ukraine: three rescuers killed in Kyiv, more than 40 people wounded

On the night of June 6, Russia launched another massive attack on Ukraine, targeting civilian and critical infrastructure with missiles and drones. The shelling in Kyiv killed three rescuers of the State Emergency Service who were working under fire to save others. This was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
“Last night, missiles and drones were targeting civilian and critical infrastructure. Emergency services – the State Emergency Service and the police – responded to every call for help,” the minister said.
According to him, three rescuers of the State Emergency Service were killed while eliminating the consequences of enemy strikes in Kyiv.
According to the State Emergency Service, the victims of the Russian strike were Pavlo Yezhor, Danylo Skadin and Andriy Remennyi.



Nine other rescuers were injured, some of them seriously. Doctors are fighting for their lives.
“Unfortunately, we have suffered another loss in the family of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. They worked under fire to help people,” emphasized Klymenko.
According to him, five rescuers were injured while extinguishing a fire in Ternopil region.




All of them are being provided with medical aid.
“We bow low to our fallen unarmed heroes. They were courageous, faithful to their oath, and dedicated to the cause of rescue. I wishthe wounded a speedy recovery,” the minister added.
In total, at least three people were killed and about 40 others were wounded in the night attack across Ukraine. Infrastructure facilities in several regions were hit, and rescuers and police worked under fire without stopping for a moment.
“The price of our resistance is lives. But the strength is also in the people who are holding the country together, risking their own,” summarized Igor Klymenko.
At present, emergency services continue to eliminate the consequences of the strikes, and doctors continue to fight for the lives of the wounded.

It should be noted that on the night of June 6, Kyiv experienced one of the most massive attacks. The occupiers used drones and ballistic missiles to target residential and civilian infrastructure.
