Seven EdTech startups represented Ukraine at the main international event in the field of educational technologies Bett 2025, held in London. This was reported by the Ministry of Education and Science, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

Bett 2025 is a platform that brings together more than 35 thousand participants from 120 countries, more than 300 experts in the field of digital transformation, educational technologies and innovations.

Ukraine took part in Bett 2025 for the second time, and this time leading Ukrainian startups in the field of EdTech will present their developments at the exhibition: IT Ukraine Association, Geniusee, Edmaps, ARbook, optimaschool, DreamX, Dataslab.

The Ministry of Education and Science emphasizes that the Ukrainian EdTech market continues to grow rapidly: startups in this area account for 31% of all startups in the country. Educational technologies created in Ukraine are already used for training, as well as in the activities of online schools and technology companies. And participation in Bett 2025 is an opportunity for our innovators to present their developments to the international community and attract investment.

The Ministry has also identified areas in which it plans to cooperate even more actively with international partners:

– creating an EdTech Center of Excellence that will assess the state of digitalization of education and help develop effective solutions;

– updating the strategy for digital transformation of education to take into account current challenges and technological trends, including artificial intelligence and inclusiveness;

– strengthening international cooperation to address urgent educational needs, including through the support of the Device Coalition.

Digital education has long been a priority in Ukraine

An updated interactive map of Digital Education Hubs has just been launched on the Diia.Osvita platform. From now on, anyone can quickly find the nearest hub to develop the necessary digital skills.

These are free offline learning spaces where Ukrainians can get help in using electronic services and take advantage of Diia.Osvita:

– take a career guidance test to understand what profession they are inclined to;

– learn about the skills needed to start or develop a career through educational series;

– practice in interactive simulations;

– browse the catalog of vacancies collected from the largest job search sites;

– check how confident you are in using digital technologies with the Digitalgram and Cybergram tests.

Valeriia Ionan, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation for European Integration, reminds us that “digital literacy is not only about convenience, but also about equal opportunities for all Ukrainians.” According to her, thanks to a network of about 5,000 digital education hubs across the country, the Ministry of Digital Transformation gives citizens a chance to develop the skills necessary for success in the labor market and economic prosperity in the modern world.
