It is in these regions that some consumers remain without electricity as of June 8.
In addition to the effects of the war, the power supply situation has also been affected by severe weather. According to the Ministry of Energy, due to weather conditions, 26 settlements in the Kyiv and Chernihiv regions also remain without electricity.
Repair crews are already working to address the damage and restore power.
Will there be power schedules and restrictions on June 8?
The Ministry of Energy emphasized that no restrictions are expected on June 8. In other words, as of now, no nationwide blackouts or power rationing schedules are anticipated for consumers.
At the same time, the ministry urged people to follow official announcements from their regional power companies, as they will be the first to publish updated information regarding power supply in the event of any changes.
Ukrainians were urged to conserve electricity during peak hours
Despite the absence of anticipated restrictions, the Ministry of Energy is asking citizens to use electricity sparingly during the hours of peak system load—in the morning and evening.
The ministry explains that this helps reduce the load on the power grid and maintain its stable operation amid constant attacks on infrastructure.
The Ministry of Energy emphasizes that restoration work in damaged regions is ongoing 24/7. Energy workers are striving to restore power as quickly as possible in areas affected by shelling and combat operations.
The situation in the power grid remains difficult but under control.
