Seven regions of Ukraine have been left without power due to Russian shelling: what the Ministry of Energy is saying

As a result of new shelling of energy infrastructure facilities, some consumers in seven regions of Ukraine have been temporarily left without power. These regions include Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv.

This was reported by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"

The ministry noted that energy workers are operating in an enhanced mode, and restoration work is continuing around the clock.

According to the Ministry of Energy, due to Russian shelling of energy infrastructure, some consumers in the following regions are temporarily without electricity:

  • Dnipropetrovsk
  • Donetsk
  • Zhytomyr
  • Zaporizhzhia
  • Odesa
  • Kharkiv
  • Chernihiv.

It is in these regions that the consequences of attacks on energy facilities have been recorded.

The power outages were caused by Russian shelling of energy infrastructure facilities. Due to damage to energy facilities, some customers in seven regions temporarily lost access to electricity.
