The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official exchange rates for Thursday, April 16. The U.S. dollar strengthened against the hryvnia, while the euro retreated from its previous high. This is reported on the NBU’s official website, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
Thus, the Ukrainian currency weakened slightly against the dollar but strengthened against the euro.
According to official data from the regulator, the dollar exchange rate as of April 16 is set at 43.52 UAH per dollar, and the euro exchange rate is 51.27 UAH per euro.

On Thursday, April 16, the National Bank of Ukraine set the official dollar exchange rate at 43.52 hryvnia per dollar.
This means that the hryvnia weakened by 2 kopecks compared to the previous banking day. Thus, the dollar continued its slight rise on the official market.

The official euro exchange rate on April 16 was set at 51.27 hryvnia per euro.
Compared to the previous rate, the hryvnia strengthened by 6 kopecks. This means that the European currency has moved away from its high, and the euro exchange rate has declined slightly.
What is the interbank exchange rate on April 16
On Ukraine’s interbank currency market as of 4:00 PM, the hryvnia’s exchange rate against the dollar stood at 43.56/43.59 UAH per dollar.

What were the exchange rates at Ukrainian banks?
As of April 15, the dollar-to-hryvnia exchange rate in Ukrainian banks fell by 2 kopecks to 43.75 UAH per dollar. The US currency could be sold at an average rate of 43.30 UAH per dollar.
The average euro-to-hryvnia exchange rate, on the other hand, rose by 24 kopecks to 51.57 UAH per euro. The European currency could be sold at a rate of 50.80 UAH per euro.
Exchange rates at PrivatBank
At PrivatBank, the dollar-to-hryvnia exchange rate fell by 10 kopecks to 43.10 UAH per dollar. The US currency could also be sold at a rate of 43.10 UAH.
The euro exchange rate at PrivatBank, in turn, rose by 35 kopecks to 51.60 UAH per euro. The European currency could be sold at a rate of 50.60 UAH per euro.
