Odessa has endured a massive Russian attack: there are casualties, and the ports and a dormitory have been damaged

Odesa endured a difficult night under heavy fire from Russian forces. The city came under several waves of combined missile and drone strikes. According to preliminary data from the Regional State Administration, nine people were killed in the attack, and at least 23 others were injured to varying degrees.
What damage did Odesa sustain?

Port infrastructure in Greater Odessa was hit
Separately, it is reported that Russian troops attacked port infrastructure facilities in Greater Odessa overnight. The Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority stated that numerous strikes hit industrial and administrative facilities.
According to preliminary information from the USPA, there were no casualties at the port facilities, but damage to the infrastructure of port operators has been recorded.

Fires and rescue operations following the strike
Fires broke out at some infrastructure facilities following the strikes. Rescue workers are containing them. Law enforcement officers are also on the scene of the strikes, documenting the consequences of the attack.
The head of the Regional Military Administration reported that all necessary medical assistance is being provided to the victims. Search and rescue operations and cleanup efforts following the massive strike are ongoing in the city.

According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, as of 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, at least 15 people were killed and over 100 injured as a result of a large-scale combined Russian attack using various types of missiles and strike drones on Ukrainian territory.
Kyiv, Dnipro, Odesa, Kharkiv, and other regions came under enemy fire. Preliminary investigations have been opened into the attacks under the article on war crimes.
It was also reported that defense forces neutralized 667 of 703 enemy targets overnight. Among them were 636 enemy UAVs of the Shahed and Gerbera types, as well as other types of drones. In Kyiv, according to the Office of the Prosecutor General, four people were killed as a result of a combined attack, including a 12-year-old child. At least 54 more people were injured. The Podil and Obolon districts suffered the most damage.
In Dnipro, two people were killed and 27 others were injured, including children. Additionally, four more people were injured in the evening as a result of a UAV attack, including two young children.
In the Nikopol district of Dnipropetrovsk region, a man was killed and three others were injured by strikes from FPV drones. Civilian infrastructure, educational institutions, a hospice, a dormitory, residential buildings, and vehicles were damaged.
In Kharkiv, damage to residential buildings was reported, as well as a car fire in one of the city’s districts. At least two civilians were injured.
