OpenAI has lifted all limits on the number of messages in ChatGPT

OpenAI, an artificial intelligence developer, is expanding the capabilities available to users of its free plans. Starting next week, they will be able to conduct an unlimited number of text chats using the GPT-5.6 Luna model. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing Delo.ua.
At the same time, the company clarified that limits on file uploads, image processing, and the use of certain additional tools will remain in place for the free version.
In addition, users of the Free and Go plans will gain access to a new “Think” button. It is designed for complex queries that require a more in-depth explanation.
When activated, the model will allocate more time to analyzing the query and formulating a detailed response.
At the same time, OpenAI has updated the tools for subscribers to the paid Plus and Pro plans:
- The GPR-5.6 Sol model: As of August 6, a new version of the AI model became available to subscribers. It demonstrates higher accuracy and makes fewer errors thanks to more effective source verification, which is critical for queries involving data, dates, statistics, and analytical assumptions.
- Special time slider: Paid users can now manually adjust the amount of time the AI spends thinking. You can choose a fast mode for daily tasks or increase the thinking time for complex programming, research, or business planning.
