Weather in Ukraine on May 5: Temperatures will rise to 27 degrees in some regions

On Tuesday, May 5, Ukraine will see warm, dry, and sunny weather. According to forecaster Natalka Didenko, an anticyclone will determine the weather in Ukraine on May 5, reports "Komersant Ukrainian"
Daytime temperatures in most regions will rise to 23–27 degrees, but it will be cooler along the coast—around 17–21 degrees. The first noticeable change in the weather, with rain and a drop in temperature, is expected around May 9–10.
No precipitation is expected, and most of the country will enjoy a sunny and spring-like warm day.
What will the weather be like on May 5
On Tuesday, Ukraine will continue to experience anticyclonic weather. This means that dry, stable, and mostly clear weather will prevail, with no significant precipitation.
According to Natalka Didenko’s forecast, daytime temperatures will range from 23 to 27 degrees.
Along the coast, it will be cooler, ranging from 17 to 21 degrees.
The meteorologist noted that while much of continental Europe will be experiencing rain, Ukraine will be sunny and warm on May 5.

According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, light cloud cover and no precipitation are expected in Ukraine on May 5. The wind will be predominantly southwesterly, 5–10 m/s.
Temperatures are expected to vary by region:

Weather in Kyiv on May 5
Sunny and warm weather is expected in Kyiv on Tuesday. According to Natalka Didenko’s forecast, daytime temperatures in the capital will be around 25 degrees
No precipitation is expected, and winds will be moderate. This warm and clear weather in the capital is expected to continue for some time.
When the weather will turn
Despite the warming trend, forecasters warn that the stable warm weather will not last too long. The first noticeable change in weather conditions is expected around May 9–10.
On those days, the following are possible:
- rain;
- a drop in temperature;
- increased cloud cover;
- a change in air masses.
According to Natalka Didenko, temperatures in Ukraine may begin to drop on May 9–10 after several warm and sunny days.
Why has it gotten warmer in Ukraine?
The warming is linked to the influence of an anticyclone. An anticyclone typically brings stable weather: fewer clouds, more sunshine, lighter winds, and no precipitation.
That is why, after a cold end to April, the beginning of May feels much more comfortable. In many regions, temperatures are already approaching summer levels.
