The target of the Russian army’s massive missile attack on Ukraine on December 13 was the energy sector. This was stated by Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

“The enemy continues its terror. Once again, the energy sector across Ukraine is under massive attack,” Galushchenko said.

The minister noted that the energy sector is working to minimize the consequences of the attacks, despite the difficult situation.

“Power engineers are taking all the necessary measures to minimize the negative consequences for the power system,” he emphasized.

While the danger has not passed, assessing the extent of damage and restoring the infrastructure remain priorities, but are possible only under favorable conditions.

“As soon as the security situation allows, the damage will be clarified,” Galushchenko added.

The minister urged citizens to stay safe and closely follow official reports:

“Follow the official reports. Stay in shelters as long as there is danger!”

It should be noted that on the morning of December 13, the Russian army carried out another massive attack on Ukraine. In particular, the enemy used Tu-95MS bombers, Kalibr bombers from the Black Sea, and ballistic missiles. Explosions are heard all over Ukraine. In particular, they were heard in Odesa, Cherkasy, Kharkiv, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Khmelnytsky regions.
