Strike on Civilian Infrastructure
The attack on the agricultural enterprise once again demonstrates that Russian troops continue to strike civilian targets that have no military significance.
Agricultural enterprises provide jobs, food security, and economic activity for communities. Damage to them creates additional risks for the local population, farmers, and the regional economy.
Why Chernihiv Region Is Regularly Under Attack
Chernihiv Oblast borders Russia, so the region’s border communities are regularly subjected to shelling. Residential buildings, businesses, transportation, infrastructure, and agricultural areas are all targeted.
The Novhorod-Siverskyi district has been repeatedly targeted due to its proximity to the border and the constant activity of Russian troops.
