Overnight in Kharkiv, a Russian “Shahed”-type kamikaze drone struck a Ukrposhta hub. The company’s CEO, Ihor Smilianskyi, reported the attack, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
According to Ihor Smilianskyi, it was a difficult night for the company: an enemy Shahed drone struck the Kharkiv hub, partially destroying the facility.
“We had a difficult night today. A Shahed struck our Kharkiv hub. It has been partially destroyed, but the main thing is that everyone is alive,” Smiliansky said.
Ukrposhta promises delivery in Kharkiv as early as today
Despite the damage, the company assured that deliveries in Kharkiv will continue. The team has been working since last night to ensure that shipments reach their recipients as quickly as possible.
Separately, the CEO of Ukrposhta emphasized that the company will definitely compensate customers whose packages were destroyed as a result of the attack.

A blow to the logistics infrastructure
The attack on the Ukrposhta hub in Kharkiv was yet another blow to civilian and logistics infrastructure. Ukrposhta had previously reported other attacks on its mobile branches and facilities in frontline regions.
The company has an extensive logistics network across the country, and in the spring of 2026, it announced the full automation of sorting at 24 logistics facilities, making such hubs critical for uninterrupted delivery.
