The European flagship of the entertainment industry, Paris Disneyland, has yet to meet investors’ long-term financial expectations, despite its high popularity among tourists. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing The Guardian.

According to the British publication, citing an analysis of recent corporate reports, in its 34 years of operation, the famous entertainment complex has still not been able to fully recoup its initial and subsequent capital investments.

Since the facility opened in 1992, the American corporation Disney has invested $6.8 billion in the development and maintenance of the French site, but the company has not yet managed to recoup these funds in full.

According to official financial reports for the fiscal year ending September 30, this tourist destination demonstrated the best results among all of the company’s similar international resorts outside the United States.

The management company’s net profit for the twelve-month period reached a record $304.2 million. This was facilitated by the introduction of a new dynamic pricing system for admission tickets and services.
