In Sloviansk, Donetsk Oblast, two employees of the emergency dispatch service of JSC “Donetskoblgaz” were killed as a result of a second Russian strike. After the first attack, the men left their home to help local residents put out a fire, but Russian troops struck the same area again. The Naftogaz Group reported the tragedy, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
The victims were identified as 57-year-old Ivan Kosse and 28-year-old Boris Morgunov.
Who Died During the Second Strike on Sloviansk
According to the company, Ivan Kosse worked as a mechanic, and Boris Morgunov was a driver for the Donetskoblgaz emergency dispatch service.
At the time of the first Russian strike, both men were at home. When a fire broke out on the street, they did not stand idly by but went out to help people and put out the fire.

It was while they were dealing with the aftermath of the attack that Russian troops launched a second strike. Both gas service employees were killed.
Naftogaz emphasized that the company had lost two professional and dedicated employees who rushed to help others at a critical moment.
Donetskoblgaz stated that the Russian war continues to claim the lives of workers who, even amid constant shelling, ensure the operation of critical infrastructure.
Sloviansk is under constant shelling
Sloviansk remains one of the cities in the Donetsk region that is regularly attacked by the Russian army. Residential neighborhoods, businesses, utility facilities, and other civilian infrastructure are under fire.
Due to the constant danger, the Donetsk Oblast administration is urging residents of frontline communities to evacuate to safer regions.
