In the Kherson region, the occupiers have declared an “open season” on vehicles using drones, particularly those carrying fiber-optic cables. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing Alexander Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

What is known about the threat

According to the Defense Forces, the occupiers have received orders to conduct a so-called “free hunt” for vehicles using drones, specifically those equipped with fiber-optic controls.

To carry out these plans, the Russians have increased the presence of their drone units in the region.

The invaders are paying particular attention to vehicles that can be identified by their appearance as Defense Forces vehicles.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the risk of attacks near areas with large concentrations of vehicles—particularly near supermarkets, markets, and gas stations—is also increasing.

In the coming weeks, the head of the Regional Military Administration urged residents to be as vigilant as possible.
