Cybercriminals in Ukraine are demanding money to prevent businesses from being attacked — “Flash”

Representatives of Ukrainian businesses have begun receiving letters in which cybercriminals pose as “owners of suicide bombers” and demand payment to prevent attacks on their facilities. This was reported by presidential adviser Sergei “Flash” Beskrestnov, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
“Businesses have begun receiving anonymous letters from the ‘owners of the Shahids’ offering to spare their facilities from attacks by the Shahids in exchange for payment,” “Flash” said.
He urged business representatives not to fall for such provocations.
“I hope everyone will have the wisdom not to believe this nonsense,” he noted.
As a reminder, on the night of August 5, the Russian military carried out a massive strike on the Kyiv region, killing at least 16 people. The occupiers attacked the warehouses and production facilities of Ukrainian manufacturers. In particular, facilities belonging to “Epicenter,” “Rozetka,” “Silpo,” “PUMA,” and others were destroyed.
