The U.S. Will Supply Ukraine with Missiles Every Month — Zelenskyy

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says the U.S. will supply Kyiv with interceptor missiles for air defense systems on a monthly basis. Zelenskyy made this statement at a joint press conference with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
“First of all, the United States of America is the primary manufacturer of anti-missile missiles and systems. Will they be able to help? We’re working on it… Will they provide us with missiles every month? Yes. We have agreements in place,” said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
He added, however, that the missiles would not be enough, without specifying how many would be supplied.
Zelenskyy did not say exactly when the relevant agreements were reached. A number of media outlets interpreted Zelenskyy’s words as confirming the supply of missiles specifically for the Patriot systems, the shortage of which the Ukrainian president has repeatedly mentioned. In his speech, Zelenskyy did not specify exactly which missiles he was referring to.
The Ukrainian leader arrived in Serbia on August 7. This is the Ukrainian president’s first official visit to that country since taking office.
Trump: We Need Missiles Ourselves
Earlier, on August 6, when asked by a journalist whether Washington would provide Kyiv with additional interceptor missiles for the Patriot air defense system and long-range missiles, which it urgently needs, U.S. President Donald Trump replied: “We need missiles ourselves.”
At the same time, Trump accused the Joe Biden administration of depleting U.S. ammunition stockpiles due to military aid to Kyiv.
“Biden gave him (Zelenskyy— Ed. ) $300 billion worth of ammunition. When I left, everything was stocked (with ammunition— Ed. ), and he gave away a very large portion of it,” he said.
