Defense forces struck Russian defense industry facilities, an oil depot, and bridges in Crimea

On the night of July 7, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of key enemy targets. This was reported by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

“A strike was carried out against JSC ‘Kremniy EL Group’ in Bryansk. The extent of the damage and the results of the strike are being clarified,” the statement said.

It is noted that JSC “Kremny EL Group” is one of Russia’s leading manufacturers of microelectronics. The company manufactures microchips, power semiconductor devices, and electronic components used in control systems, communications, electronic warfare, and weapons systems of the Russian Federation.

“The Bryansk Plant in the city of Seltsy, Bryansk Oblast, Russian Federation, was also struck. Four explosions were recorded in the vicinity of the facility. The results of the strike are being assessed,” the General Staff added.

The General Staff explained that the Bryansk Chemical Plant is a key component of the aggressor state’s military-industrial complex. The plant produces gunpowder, explosives, and rocket fuel components used to manufacture ammunition and missiles with which Russian troops are striking Ukrainian territory.

In addition, according to the General Staff, the oil depot at the Belgorod airfield was struck. The extent of the damage is currently being assessed.

It is also reported that railway bridges in the temporarily occupied Crimea were struck.

“Two railway bridges in the areas of the settlements of Rozdolne and Ichki in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea have been struck. These facilities are used by the enemy for military logistics and the transport of personnel, weapons, and ammunition,” the statement reads.

In addition, logistics depots for Russian troops in the Volnovakha and Yasynuvata areas of Donetsk Oblast were struck.

The General Staff emphasized that it will continue to systematically strike military facilities used by Russia to carry out armed aggression against Ukraine.

“The Ukrainian defense forces will continue to systematically carry out measures aimed at ending the Russian Federation’s armed aggression,” the statement said.

Earlier, it was reported that Ukrainian forces struck the Omsk Oil Refinery with upgraded FP-1 drones. Hits were recorded on the refinery’s processing columns. The facility has a capacity of 8.4 million metric tons of oil per year.
