19 August 00:25
Starting August 20, 2026, 50 new automated traffic violation detection systems will begin operating in Ukraine. Once they are activated, the total number of automated traffic cameras on Ukrainian roads will rise to 426.

The fines are as follows:
- 340 hryvnias—for exceeding the speed limit by more than 20 km/h;
- 1,700 hryvnias — for exceeding the speed limit by more than 50 km/h.
If the fine is paid within 10 calendar days of receipt, the amount is reduced by 50%.
The current speed limit near each complex must be determined by road signs. The locations of the cameras and the established speed limits are published on the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
