Agro Ukraine Week 2026: Three Days That Brought Ukraine’s Agricultural Sector Together
22 June 12:33
From June 17 to 19, 2026, Kyiv hosted Agro Ukraine Week 2026, an international agricultural event. It was the first event of this scale and format in Ukraine. It was unique in its concept and potential. A business platform that brought together several industries and sectors. Modeled after leading international exhibition and forum formats, this business platform is set to become one of Europe’s key industry hubs within a few years in post-war Ukraine, reports "Komersant Ukrainian", citing the event’s press service.
Agro Ukraine Week integrates specialized conferences, exhibitions, discussion forums, and cultural and educational events aimed not only at developing the national agribusiness sector but also at enhancing Ukraine’s standing as a modern agricultural nation. A country associated with innovation, technology, and the creation of high-value-added products.
“The first step is always a risk. But the inaugural Agro Ukraine Week confirmed the demand for this format and laid the foundation for the project’s further development and improvement. “We thank everyone who, despite the challenging security situation and logistical risks, joined us in making this event a success,” the event organizers noted.
Informal networking was a key component of Agro Ukraine Week. Behind the scenes of the summit’s conferences, on terraces, and in cozy relaxation areas, participants exchanged ideas, discussed pressing issues in the industry’s development, and found new points of contact for collaboration.
An important part of the event was the exhibition area, featuring more than a hundred booths representing leading suppliers of goods, services, and technologies for agricultural producers.

It is no exaggeration to say that the groundwork for many future partnerships, joint projects, and business initiatives was laid here.
War is our reality. There is not a single industry or enterprise that has not been affected by the hostilities, constant shelling, and their consequences. And just think of how many farmers are defending our homeland on the front lines! This theme was present at every venue: a tribute to the Heroes, a performance by the Veterans’ Theater, and a screening of the film “Quiet Land” from the “Molodist” Film Festival program.
The main goal of the cultural and artistic program of International Agrarian Week is to showcase what is truly Ukrainian—without clichés or vulgarity. Patriotic songs, lively folk dances, Ukrainian folklore performed by the country’s leading artistic ensembles, an exhibition of works by our brilliant artist Ivan Marchuk, and presentations of exclusive brands all enhanced the special atmosphere of Agro Ukraine Week, where professionalism blends with Ukrainian culture and art.
Agro Ukraine Week featured 14 forums, conferences, and summits, each dedicated to a specific area of development in the agricultural sector.

Agro Ukraine Summit
The central event of the first day was the Agro Ukraine Summit. Participants discussed the current state of the agricultural sector amid the war, issues of food security, government support for producers, and the prospects for exporting Ukrainian products.
Particular attention was paid to the agri-food sector’s adaptation to EU standards and Ukraine’s further integration into the European market.
AgTech Forum
The AgTech Forum served as the main platform for showcasing digital technologies and innovations in the agricultural sector. The Aggeek team managed to bring together a group of highly charismatic experts; each of their presentations and their participation in the “battle” with AI greatly captivated the audience.
Forum participants discussed the development of precision farming, the use of drones, digital platforms, artificial intelligence, and robotic production management systems.
The forum confirmed that the digital transformation of agribusiness in Ukraine continues to gain momentum even amid the war.
Agro Ukraine Farming
On Farmer’s Day, the forum “A Farmer’s Voice in Times of Great Change” was held with great success. Organized by the All-Ukrainian Farmers’ Congress with the support of the international humanitarian organization Mercy Corps, the forum was dedicated to Ukrainian farmers.
The event served as a platform for open dialogue between the farming community and government officials on financing, state support, European integration, and rural development.
Agro Invest Forum
The investment forum ran throughout all three days of Agro Ukraine Week. Its participants analyzed opportunities for attracting investment, helping Ukrainian companies enter international markets, and enhancing the competitiveness of the agricultural sector.
A significant portion of the discussions focused on developing partnerships, reforming the regulatory environment, and identifying new financial instruments for the agricultural sector.
Of course, the topic of investment was also discussed at other conferences and forums.
Agro Marketing Stage
This event served not only as a platform for discussing modern marketing strategies, branding, and communications in the agricultural sector, but also as a hub of creativity and innovation. Speakers shared practical case studies, discussed the use of artificial intelligence, building strong brands, and forming effective marketing teams.
The audience was particularly interested in the communications hackathon organized by Dentsu Ukraine, during which participants developed marketing solutions in real time.
Grain Storage Forum
The Grain Storage Forum brought together representatives from the grain storage industry, logistics companies, and grain traders.

The forum on grain and oilseed processing focused on the creation of value-added products and the development of domestic processing.
Experts analyzed the prospects for the production of cereals, flour, pasta, starch, and other products. Participants emphasized the need to strengthen Ukraine’s position not only as an exporter of raw materials but also as a producer of finished goods.
Processing in Livestock Farming
The conference brought together representatives of the dairy processing industry.
Key topics included the long-term development strategy for the dairy industry, increasing the competitiveness of Ukrainian products, and adapting to European requirements.
There was also active discussion on promoting milk consumption and implementing school meal programs.

The main focus was on disease prevention, animal welfare, the use of modern veterinary drugs, and the harmonization of Ukrainian legislation with EU requirements.
Participants emphasized the need to transition to a systematic approach to disease prevention.
All-Ukrainian “Power of Agro-Change” Contest
As part of Agro Ukraine Week, the results of the All-Ukrainian “Power of Agri-Change” competition, organized by Agroportal, were also announced.
With the support of partners, an awards ceremony honoring Ukraine’s most innovative farmers took place on the main stage.
Solar Agro Conference
The conference was dedicated to the development of solar energy in the agricultural sector. Speakers presented practical case studies on the implementation of solar power plants, energy storage systems, and agrivoltaic solutions.
Energy efficiency is one of the key factors in the sustainability of the agricultural business amid the risks of war.
Bioenergy Conference
The Bioenergy Conference focused on opportunities for biomass utilization and the development of biogas projects.
Experts discussed modern technologies for producing alternative energy, the economics of bioenergy enterprises, and project financing.
Legislative changes needed to accelerate the industry’s development were discussed separately.
AgroBuild Ukraine

Participants examined new safety standards, the digitization of permitting procedures, the prospects for exporting Ukrainian construction materials, and the role of construction in the recovery of the agricultural sector.
A detailed account of Agro Ukraine Week 2026 was covered in the event’s daily log: Day One, Day Two, and the final day.
The organizers extend their sincere gratitude to all participants of the International Week, all partners who supported this large-scale event, all media partners and ag-bloggers who helped many farmers learn about Agro Ukraine Week 2026 and published news from the forums.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for giving us the opportunity to work, develop the agricultural sector, meet at professional events, and build the future of our country!
The inaugural Agro Ukraine Week proved to be a success. Over the course of three days, the event brought together more than three thousand representatives of the agricultural community, confirmed the relevance of the chosen format, and identified new directions for development in the coming years.
