monobank is expanding its “Buy in Installments” program to the tourism market. A dedicated page featuring hotels and resort complexes in Ukraine has appeared on the bank’s website, where customers can pay for their stays in several installments, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
At the same time, an application was filed to register the “monoTravel” trademark. This may indicate monobank’s intention to develop a separate tourism division, though there has not yet been an official announcement of a full-fledged booking service.

The application to register the “monotravel” trademark was filed on June 15, 2026.
It covers a range of goods and services related to the travel industry, online services, and bookings.
What’s Already Available on the monobank Website
The monobank website features a dedicated travel page listing hotels, aparthotels, countryside resorts, and glamping sites from various regions of Ukraine.
Customers can:
- browse the list of hotels;
- review key features;
- see available additional services;

- pay for their stay using “Pay in Installments.”
The page essentially serves as a catalog of monobank partners that have enabled the option to pay for accommodations in installments.

monobank co-founder Oleg Gorokhovsky confirmed that this is a dedicated page for hotels.
“This is a separate page for installment purchases at hotels,” monobank co-founder Oleg Gorokhovsky told dev.ua.
monobank also emphasized that hotels operate within the same partner program as other online stores and businesses.
In other words, the bank does not act as a tour operator and does not sell travel packages on its own. It provides a financial tool that allows customers to split their accommodation payments into several installments.
How paying for a hotel in installments works
To use the service, a customer selects a hotel from the list of partners and contacts it or visits its website.
During checkout, select “Pay in Installments” from monobank.
After that:
- The hotel processes the payment.
- The customer receives a request in the monobank app.
- The user checks the amount and number of payments.
- Confirms the transaction.
- The first payment is debited in accordance with the terms of the agreement.
- Subsequent payments are made according to the established schedule.
The number of installments and the available limit depend on the specific hotel’s terms and the customer’s credit limit.
Is there a fee for the customer?
monobank positions “Buy in Installments” as a fee-free installment plan for the buyer.
The bank’s fee is typically paid by the partner—in this case, the hotel.
The cost of the service should not be artificially inflated simply because the customer chooses to pay in installments. At the same time, the customer should clarify in advance:
- the final price of the stay;
- the number of available payments;
- the cancellation policy;
- the refund policy;
- whether the promotional price applies when paying in installments.
It is especially important to check the refund policy, as canceling a reservation and closing a “Pay in Installments” transaction may be separate procedures.

According to industry media reports, monobank’s travel page already features over 80 hotels, resort complexes, and glamping sites.

Among the featured partners are well-known Ukrainian hotel chains and individual hotel complexes.
In Lviv, you can find:

- hotels in the !FEST chain;

In Odesa, Bukovel, and other tourist destinations, properties from the Ribas Hotels Group are represented, including Ribas Karpaty, Ribas Duke, and hotels from the Wol line.

However, monobank has not yet confirmed that it independently handles the entire booking process, including checking room availability, processing reservations, and managing bookings.
Therefore, it is more accurate to describe the current format as a hotel directory with the option to pay for your stay in installments.
Bookings and date confirmations are handled directly with the hotel.

The registration of a separate trademark may indicate monobank’s intention to further develop its travel services.
