The Black Sea is ablaze: “Madyar” reports a record-breaking strike against the Russian Navy
15 July 09:56
Twenty Russian ships were struck in the Black Sea on the night of Wednesday, July 15. This was reported by Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, commander of the Special Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
According to Robert Brovdi, the new phase of the SBS operation was named “MoLoChka” and was dedicated to Ukrainian Statehood Day.
“The next phase of the SBS operation, ‘MoLoChKa,’ was launched in time for Ukrainian Statehood Day—the SBS ‘Birds’ in the Black Sea. The tally has begun: the first 20 tankers in the Black Sea were taken out overnight on July 15,” Brovdi stated.
The commander reported that in just one night, Ukrainian drone operators struck:
- 17 oil tankers;
- 2 gas tankers;
- 1 tugboat.
He noted that a detailed official report and video evidence of the operation’s results will be released later.

The operation has moved from the Sea of Azov to the Black Sea
According to “Madyar,” the preliminary phase of the operation in the Sea of Azov has already been completed.
Based on the results of the first phase, the Ukrainian military reports that 116 vessels of Russia’s “shadow fleet” were struck.
Following this, the Unmanned Systems Forces began similar operations in the Black Sea.
Russia’s “shadow fleet” remains the main target
Russia’s so-called “shadow fleet” is used to transport oil and petroleum products in circumvention of international sanctions.
In addition to oil shipments, some of these vessels provide military logistics, delivering cargo and supplies to the Russian army.
The Ukrainian military has repeatedly stated that systematically targeting such vessels is intended to hinder the export of Russian energy resources and reduce funding for military aggression.
The campaign has been ongoing for over a week
The latest strike was a continuation of a series of attacks that the Unmanned Systems Forces have been carrying out since early July.
In recent days, the Unmanned Systems Forces command has reported dozens of tankers, dry cargo ships, ferries, and tugs struck in the Azov and Black Sea regions.
