Ukraine will soon receive aid from Italy to restore its energy sector, which has suffered from numerous massive strikes by the Russian regime.

This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing a post by the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov.

According to Budanov, a shipment of heating equipment will arrive in Ukraine from Italy. It is intended for the regions most affected by Russian terror.

“This is the implementation of agreements between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni,” he said.

In the first stage, Ukraine will receive 78 industrial boilers with a total capacity of 116.5 MW, equipment that is urgently needed against the backdrop of constant Russian terrorist attacks on infrastructure.

The second stage is planned for the next six months. During the second stage, Ukraine will receive 300 boilers with a total capacity of 806 MW, which will be delivered to the regions currently suffering most from Russian shelling.

“I am grateful to Italy for its help and to all our partners for their solidarity and concrete steps to protect Ukrainians,” Budanov added.

Recall that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that due to the severe consequences of Russian strikes on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, a decision will be made to introduce a state of emergency in the energy sector.
