Ukrainian chef, restaurateur, and promoter of Ukrainian cuisine Yevhen Klopotenko appeared on the Polish TV show *MasterChef TVN*. He became the first guest chef from Ukraine in the 15 seasons of the Polish version of the cooking show.

Klopotenko announced this on his social media accounts, posting a photo from the set, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"

The episode of the Polish “MasterChef” featuring him is scheduled to air in the fall of 2026.

Klopotenko introduced Ukrainian cuisine in Poland

Yevhen Klopotenko said he couldn’t pass up the opportunity to introduce Ukrainian cuisine to a Polish audience. According to him, he brought not only dishes to the show but also ingredients that showcase the uniqueness of Ukrainian gastronomy.

Among the ingredients the chef brought with him were:

  • barley porridge;
  • smoked pear;
  • brynza;
  • dill seeds;
  • kvass;
  • other Ukrainian products.

Klopotenko also mentioned bees, emphasizing that the world needs to know more about Ukrainian local products and culinary traditions.
