Kharkiv and Odesa region under drone attack: there are victims

This evening, February 28, the Russian invaders attacked the territory of Ukraine again with attack drones. There have been “arrivals” in Kharkiv and Odesa region, and one victim has already been reported as a result of enemy shelling, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
The Air Force reported that enemy UAVs were spotted in several directions. Due to the threat of “Shahed” attacks, an air alert was declared in a number of regions.
“Odesa district was under attack. As a result of the attack and falling debris, a one-story private house, a business, trucks and cars caught fire. One person was killed and another was injured. All relevant services are working to eliminate the consequences,” wrote Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.
Meanwhile, at least five strikes were reported in Kharkiv in different districts. One of the strikes hit a medical facility with people in it. A fire broke out at the site of the hit, said Mayor Igor Terekhov. According to him, it was in Shevchenkivskyi district.
“One of the drones hit the territory of a medical facility. At the moment, there are no casualties,” Sinehubov said later.
According to Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, there was another enemy attack in Kharkiv, an “arrival” in the Shevchenkivskyi district, with no casualties.
Residents of the city were warned that Russian drones continue to move towards Kharkiv.
“Another strike in the central part of the city near residential buildings. The information about the victims is being checked,” the head of the JFO said in a statement.
The head of the JFO also said later that a fourth strike was carried out on Kharkiv, in particular on the Kholodnohirsky district.
“Specialized services have arrived at the site of the hit,” the official said.
Later, the head of the DIA said that in Kharkiv, due to a Shahed hit, the State Emergency Service is extinguishing a fire on the roof of a three-story building.
The official also said that there was another drone hit in Kyiv district. He noted that all the hits were in the central part of Kharkiv.
Mayor Terekhov added that the Russians continue to attack Kharkiv, with another “arrival” in the Kyiv district near a gas station.
“Information on the damage and casualties is being clarified,” he said.
