Child benefits will be transferred to parents’ accounts in the near future, no later than Monday, March 2.

This was announced by Social Policy Minister Denis Ulyutin, according to RBC-Ukraine, as reported by "Komersant Ukrainian".

“Today or on Monday, child benefits will be transferred to card accounts,” Ulyutin said.

He also emphasized that in the near future, it will be possible to apply for child benefits through the Diya app.

“As of now, there is an option (to apply for child benefits – ed.) through Oschadbank, by opening a renewable card account. At the same time, we are working with other banks so that they can open card accounts linked to certain types of goods. And when this process is complete, it will be much simpler,” added the Minister of Social Policy.

Ulyutin also reminded that applications for payments can now be submitted both through the Pension Fund’s service centers and through the Administrative Service Centers.

“Child” payments in Ukraine

As a reminder, the Cabinet of Ministers has improved the mechanism for applying for and receiving “child” benefits in Ukraine. Parents have also been given more opportunities to use this money.

It was also reported that child benefits in Ukraine will increase from January 1, 2026. The amount and conditions will depend on when the child was born: mothers who give birth after January 1, 2026, will be eligible for a one-time payment of 50,000 hryvnia.
