What’s happening with the hryvnia
After a brief strengthening at the end of last week, the hryvnia again lost some ground against the dollar and the euro. At the same time, the changes remain insignificant—we’re talking about just a few kopecks.
Such fluctuations are not drastic for the currency market. The NBU’s official exchange rate may change under the influence of currency demand, bank transactions, import payments, business expectations, and the situation on the interbank market.
Cash exchange rate for the dollar
In the cash market, the dollar, according to the data provided, has not changed significantly and remains near the following levels:
1 U.S. dollar — 43.55 UAH
Cash rates at banks and exchange offices may differ from the NBU’s official rate, as they depend on supply and demand, the region, the specific financial institution, and when quotes are updated.
