A mandatory evacuation has been ordered for five settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region

A mandatory evacuation of residents from five settlements has been ordered in the Synelnykivskyi District of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. The reason is a significant deterioration in the security situation, constant Russian shelling, and a threat to people’s lives and health. This was reported by the Dubovykivska Territorial Community, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
The evacuation was ordered in accordance with Directive No. 893/0/527-26 issued by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration on May 18, 2026. This applies to residents of the Chaplynka and Shevchenkivka starosta districts.
Which settlements have been ordered to evacuate
The mandatory evacuation applies to residents of five settlements in the Synelnykivsky District:
- the village of Chaplyne;
- the village of Khutoro-Chaplyne;
- the village of Petrykove;
- the village of Rivne;
- the village of Zhuravlynka.
Residents are urged not to delay and to leave for safer regions. The evacuation will take place over a period of 30 days.
How the evacuation will proceed
Community officials emphasize that the evacuation will be organized and free of charge. People are promised assistance with departure, transportation, temporary housing, and counseling.

What to bring with you during an evacuation
Residents are advised to prepare the essentials in advance. You should take the following with you:
- documents;
- bank cards and cash;
- medications;
- essential clothing;
- essentials;
- chargers;
- a supply of water and food.
It is also advisable to have copies of documents, a power bank, hygiene supplies, and items for children and pets, if you have them.
Why people are urged not to delay
The Synelnykivsky District is regularly subjected to Russian attacks. Due to constant shelling, the risk to the civilian population is increasing, along with damage to homes and infrastructure, and complications for emergency services.
That is why authorities are urging residents not to wait for the situation to worsen, but to take advantage of the organized evacuation while it is still possible to leave safely.
