PlayCity is launching a competition to fill the position of agency director: details

The state agency PlayCity is initiating the introduction of a separate procedure for holding a competition to fill the position of its director. The goal is to establish a transparent and independent selection process, reports "Komersant Ukrainian", citing PlayCity.
“The reform has already demonstrated tangible changes in PlayCity’s first year of operation: the DSO has been launched in test mode, the state’s fight against illegal casinos has been intensified, a systematic response to illegal gambling advertising has been initiated, new player protection mechanisms have been introduced, and lottery operators have been licensed.
It is now important to complete a transparent selection process for the next head of the state agency so that the changes initiated are irreversible, sustainable, and effective for years to come,” the statement reads.
That is why PlayCity has approached the Ministry of Digital Transformation, as the body responsible for shaping policy in the gambling sector, with an initiative to begin developing a separate procedure for conducting a competition for the position of agency head. The Ministry of Digital Transformation has already approached the Cabinet of Ministers regarding the issuance of a corresponding directive.
The goal is to establish a professional, transparent, and independent selection process for the head of PlayCity and to continue the effective reform that is transforming the gambling and lottery market.
