Despite Strikes on Russian Territory: Putin Announces He Will Not Negotiate on Ukraine’s Terms

Russia has no intention of negotiating on Ukraine’s terms, despite intense and increasingly frequent strikes by Ukrainian forces on strategic targets deep within Russian territory. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing a statement by dictator Vladimir Putin in an interview with Russian propagandist Pavel Zarubin, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
Commenting on rumors of Ukraine’s alleged proposal to limit the zone of active hostilities to just four occupied regions (Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson), the Russian leader categorically rejected such a scenario.
He stated that such a move would be nothing more than a “lifeline” for the Ukrainian army under conditions he described as a “shortage of personnel.”
According to the spokesperson, a ceasefire or any adjustment of the front line in Ukraine’s favor would allow the Ukrainian Armed Forces to redeploy units from other sectors and strengthen their defenses.
Just last week, Ukrainian drones carried out a series of precision strikes on key Russian infrastructure targets, including a nighttime operation on June 28, during which, in addition to striking a railway bridge in Crimea, the Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully attacked two large oil refineries on Russian territory.
The drones traveled a distance of up to 700 km, striking facilities in the Krasnodar Krai and Yaroslavl Oblast, specifically the Slavyansk Oil Refinery, which supplied fuel to the occupying forces on the peninsula—a fact confirmed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
