Weather forecast in Ukraine for February 27: where it will be coldest

Today, February 27, temperatures are expected to drop to -16 °C in a number of regions of Ukraine at night. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the Ukrainian Weather Center.
On February 27, the weather in Ukraine will remain under the influence of high atmospheric pressure, so precipitation is not expected. The cold air is gradually receding, but the frosty weather will remain in the northeast and east of the country.
In these regions, temperatures will drop to 11-16° below zero at night and 0-5° below zero during the day. In the western regions, the warming will be the most noticeable – night temperatures will fluctuate between 0-5° below zero, and 5-10° above zero during the day.
In the rest of the country, it will still be cool at night, with temperatures of 7-12° below zero, but during the day, small positive values are forecast, which will create more comfortable conditions.
The wind will prevail from the southeast, with a force of 5-10 m/s. Ice will remain on the roads, especially in the central, northern and eastern regions, while in the western and most southern regions the situation will be much better.
