The Ukrainian government has updated the “Vlasna Sprava” program, which is designed to support small businesses. Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko announced this on Telegram, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

“As part of the ‘Made in Ukraine’ policy, microgrants have already helped over 34,000 Ukrainians start businesses, create 60,000 jobs, and inject over 6.8 billion hryvnias into the economy,” Svyrydenko emphasized.

Starting September 1, 2026, the program will operate under a new model.

  • for business startup — from 100,000 to 300,000 UAH (with the possibility of increasing to 500,000 UAH);
  • for scaling up — from 500,000 to 1.5 million UAH (with the possibility of increasing to 2.5 million UAH).

The grant amount depends on the number of jobs created, the region, the industry, and the applicant’s category. Funds can be used for equipment, rent and renovation of premises, digitalization, marketing, team expansion, and production development.

“This year, we have expanded the program’s opportunities for combatants, people with war-related disabilities and their families, as well as the families of fallen defenders—increasing microgrants to 300,000–500,000 UAH depending on the number of jobs created, and for young people—up to 200,000 UAH to start a business. We are working to ensure that opportunities to start one’s own business are available in communities across the country,” Svyrydenko emphasized.
