Russia attacked Zaporizhzhia’s transportation infrastructure: one person was killed and another wounded

At dawn on April 22, 2026, Russian forces launched an attack on Zaporizhzhia’s transportation infrastructure. One man was killed and another was wounded in the attack. This was reported by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
What is known about the strike on Zaporizhzhia
According to preliminary data, the strike targeted a specific transport infrastructure facility in the city. Ivan Fedorov specified that as a result of the enemy attack, one person was killed on the spot, and another was wounded
Prior to this, a threat of enemy strikes had been announced for the Zaporizhzhia region. In particular, there were reports of the danger of drones and guided bombs being used, after which information emerged about a strike in Zaporizhzhia.

288 UAVs of various types (primarily FPV) attacked Zaporizhzhia, Vilniansk, Novooleksandrivka, Stepnogorsk, Stepove, Primorske, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novodanilivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Varvarivka, Dobropillia, Huliaipilske, Staroukrainka, Hirke, Zelenе, Pryluky, and Bilohiria.
Three MLRS attacks were recorded on Bilenke, Zaliznychne, and Shcherbaky.
196 artillery strikes hit Stepnogorsk, Stepove, Pavlivka, Primorske, Lukyanivske, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novodanilivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Varvarivka, Dobropillia, Staroukrainka, Huliaipilske, Hirke, Pryluky, Olenokostyantynivka, and Bilohirya.
A total of 124 reports were received regarding damage to homes, vehicles, and infrastructure.
