As of June 10, due to hostilities and Russian shelling of energy infrastructure, some consumers in six regions of Ukraine were temporarily left without power. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"

The ministry noted that energy workers are operating in an enhanced mode, and emergency repair work is continuing around the clock to restore power to all customers as quickly as possible.

Which regions are without power on June 10

According to the Ministry of Energy, power supply issues caused by shelling have been reported in the following regions:

  • Dnipropetrovsk region
  • Donetsk region
  • Zaporizhzhia region
  • Odesa region
  • Kharkiv Oblast
  • Kherson Oblast.

It is in these regions that some consumers remain without electricity following Russian attacks on energy facilities.

In the Kharkiv region, a drone attacked a utility workers’ vehicle

Separately, the Ministry of Energy reported another dangerous incident in the Kharkiv region. There, an enemy drone attacked a utility workers’ service vehicle.

No one was injured.

At the same time, this incident once again demonstrates that it is not only energy facilities that are under attack, but also the repair crews themselves, who are restoring the grid after shelling.

Will there be power outages on June 10?

The Ministry of Energy emphasized that no restrictions are expected on June 10. In other words, as of now, no nationwide power outage schedules or additional restrictions for consumers are anticipated.

At the same time, Ukrainians are advised to follow official information from their regional power companies, as the situation in certain regions may change depending on the consequences of attacks and the pace of grid restoration.

Ukrainians were urged to conserve electricity

Despite the absence of anticipated restrictions, the Ministry of Energy is urging citizens to use electricity sparingly during peak hours—in the morning and evening.

The ministry explains that this helps reduce the load on the power grid, which continues to operate under constant Russian attacks.

Repair crews continue round-the-clock restoration of damaged lines and equipment. The main task is to restore power to all consumers in the affected regions as quickly as possible.

The situation in the power grid remains challenging but under control, and work on the ground continues nonstop.
