Difficult battles are taking place on the border in Sumy region. Russian occupation forces are trying to break through. This was stated by the head of the National Security and Defense Council’s Central Intelligence Center Andriy Kovalenko, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

According to him, Russian assault groups are trying to break through and move to Suzha in the Kursk region.

“Russian assault groups are trying to break through and move towards the highway from Yunakivka to Sudzha in Kursk region,” he emphasized.

In turn, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are fighting and inflicting significant losses on the occupation forces.

It should be noted that on March 7, the DeepState military analytical project wrote that the Russians are making progress in the Kursk region due to the use of a significant number of military personnel from North Korea.

Earlier, the Russian Telegram channel Mash wrote that Russian troops are trying to take control of the so-called Lifeline, the only paved road between Ukrainian Yunakivka and Russian Sudzha, to complicate the supply and logistics of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

And a few days ago, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine said that Russian occupation forces are trying to break through the border in Sumy region to cut off the logistics routes of the Ukrainian military.
