The Ukrainian real estate market, which for years has operated according to the rules set by classifieds websites and brokers, may soon welcome a new tech player. Lviv-based IT entrepreneur Dmytro Petrov is launching the Estato project—a platform that aims to combine the buying, selling, and renting of housing with digital transaction support services, reports "Komersant Ukrainian" , citing the company’s website and data from public registries.

According to state registry data, ESTATO UKRAINE LLC was registered in May 2025 with a registered capital of 7 million UAH. Dmytro Petrov is the company’s director and ultimate beneficiary .

The company’s primary activity is defined as the operation of web portals, while additional areas include computer programming, IT consulting, real estate brokerage, and more. The founder of the Ukrainian company is the British Estato Group Ltd.

Dmytro Petrov himself is known as the co-founder of the Lviv-based IT company Solead Software, which operates in the field of software and digital solutions development and specializes in the development of mobile, weband desktop applications with a primary focus on the Flutter and Dar ecosystems.

About Estato

On its official website , the Estato project describes itself as “the world’s first portal that can buy your property itself.” So far, the team has not disclosed all the details of how this model will be implemented, but it is already positioning the service as an alternative to traditional classifieds platforms.

In its public materials, the company emphasizes that it aims to build not just another apartment directory, but an ecosystem for the housing market. The platform plans to bring together sellers, buyers, tenants, developers, and industry specialists who facilitate transactions. The team also states that it will use blockchain solutions to organize certain processes and increase transparency in interactions between market participants.

Judging by the company’s social media posts, Estato is focused on simplifying access to real estate and providing consulting support to clients. One of its unique marketing strategies involves announcing housing giveaways among platform users.

Who’s Already in the Market

Estato is entering a market segment where several major digital platforms are already operating. Among the best-known are LUN, DIM.RIA, and OLX Real Estate, which are used to search for housing, monitor prices, and post listings for the sale and rental of real estate.

At the same time, based on Estato’s published materials, it appears that the company plans to operate not merely as an advertising platform, but rather as a platform designed to bring together buyers, sellers, tenants, developers, real estate agents, notaries, and other services necessary for facilitating real estate transactions within a single digital environment.

Potentially, Estato could compete in two segments simultaneously. On the one hand, with real estate search platforms that generate revenue from listing ads and advertising. On the other hand, it competes with real estate agencies and companies that provide transaction support, consulting, and legal services.

The project is currently in the market launch phase.

As reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", Ukrainians are buying up housing abroad en masse.

We also recall that recently, prosecutors uncovered a scheme involving the illegal nationalization of 3,790 apartments and houses belonging to Mariupol residents . The pseudo-official—the organizer of the scheme—has been notified of the charges in absentia and placed on the wanted list.
