Dmytro Petrov

Dmytro Petrov is an IT entrepreneur from Lviv, a Candidate of Technical Sciences, and the founder of SOLEAD Software. In 2025, he also became the director and co-owner of the Estato project, which is entering the Ukrainian real estate market.

Over 20 years in software development

According to his LinkedIn profile and SOLEAD Software’s corporate materials, Petrov has over 20 years of experience in the software development industry. He has progressed from a Java developer to a CTO and CEO of IT companies. At SOLEAD Software, he is described as a representative of the first generation of Ukrainian IT professionals who were at the forefront of the software outsourcing industry in Ukraine. Before starting his own business, he helped build engineering teams comprising approximately 200 developers.

A graduate of Lviv Polytechnic

Dmytro Petrov received his education at Lviv Polytechnic National University. According to the university’s publicly available biographical data, he holds a Ph.D. in Engineering, and his research focused on computer modeling and software systems.

His Own Business

The entrepreneur’s professional career is closely tied to the Lviv IT cluster. Before launching his own company, he held senior technical positions in the outsourcing industry. In particular, his public business profiles indicate that for over 13 years he served as Chief Technology Officer at Edvantis —one of Ukraine’s leading software developers for international clients. Following that, in late 2019, he founded SOLEAD Software.

Today, SOLEAD Software specializes in developing mobile, web, and desktop applications. One of the company’s key areas of expertise is the Flutter and Dart ecosystem. The company states that it participates in the Google Flutter for Web Early Adopters program and works with clients from the U.S., Europe, and Australia. According to DOU, the team consists of anywhere from several dozen to over fifty specialists, with offices located in Lviv, Kyiv, and Kharkiv.

Dmytro Petrov is also a co-founder of Solid Software LLC, registered in Lviv in 2021. The company’s main areas of activity include consulting on digital transformation, software development, and digital product creation.

A new stage in the entrepreneur’s career was his entry into the real estate market. In 2025, he became the head of ESTATO UKRAINE LLC, with a registered capital of 7 million UAH. ProjectEstato is positioned as a digital platform for buying, selling, and renting real estate, designed to bring together sellers, buyers, developers, agents, notaries, and other services related to transactions in the housing market.
