Turkey has resumed allowing ships to pass through the Black Sea following delays affecting some vessels. Bloomberg reported this, citing vessel tracking data, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

According to the report, on Sunday, the tanker Aegean Dream entered the Dardanelles Strait and proceeded to the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) terminal in Novorossiysk. The vessel had been waiting for passage since August 6. On the same day, the container ship Mehmet Kahveci A received permission to transit to Novorossiysk.

Prior to this, Turkey’s General Directorate of Coast Guard had decided, without providing an official explanation, to suspend the issuance of transit permits for vessels bound for ports in Ukraine and the Russian Federation. Bloomberg noted that this was done due to the Turkish government’s “growing concern” over attacks on ships in the region.
