Killer of Ukrainian basketball player detained in Dusseldorf

German police have detained the attacker who killed Ukrainian basketball player Volodymyr Yermakov in Dusseldorf. This was announced by Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleh Nikolenko, reports 
“According to available information, the police have already detained the attacker. Investigative actions are underway,”
– the official wrote on Facebook.
The condition of another Ukrainian basketball player, Artem Kozachenko, who also suffered from the attack, is currently stable, there is no threat to his life, the Foreign Ministry said. They assured that they are keeping the case under special control of the ministry.
The day before, two Ukrainian basketball players of the ART Giants Düsseldorf youth team were attacked by eight people of Arab appearance. Vladimir Yermakov died of stab wounds, and Artem Kozachenko was taken to intensive care.
