At one of the Silpo supermarket chain’s stores, shoppers noticed premium Ukrainian cherries, which cost nearly 900 UAH per kilogram (officially, they are priced at 84.90–87.90 UAH per 100 grams on the shelves). According to "Komersant Ukrainian".

One shopper decided to conduct an experiment and weighed a single cherry. The giant cherry came to 15.82 hryvnia.

“Next time, I’ll ask Mono to let me pay in installments,” shoppers joke on social media.

The price tag lists the brand “Konik Zakarpattia.” TM “Konik” is a well-known Ukrainian farm in Zakarpattia that specializes in advanced, premium-class fruit growing. Under this brand, they sell both select, extra-quality cherries and apples—specifically, top European varieties.
