The official winner of the online auction was “Center for Unmanned Systems Research” LLC, which operates under the “General Chereshnya” brand and is engaged in the development and mass production of unmanned systems.
How much was Lebedev’s apartment sold for?
The auction took place on June 30, 2026, on the “Prozorro.Sales” electronic trading platform.
Two bidders competed for the sanctioned property.

- starting price — 10,583,400 UAH;
- final bid — 13,500,001 UAH;
- price increase — nearly 3 million UAH;
- winner — Center for Unmanned Systems Research LLC.
The winning bid was just one hryvnia higher than the second-place bidder’s offer.

Where is the apartment located?
It is a three-room, two-level apartment in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv.
The apartment is located:
- on Yaroslaviv Val Street;
- in the central part of the capital;
- near the “Zoloti Vorota” metro station;
- in a building in the historic center of Kyiv.
The total area of the apartment is 138.5 m².
The State Property Fund noted that the apartment’s windows offer a view of the Golden Gate.

The apartment has two levels and three living rooms.
Who bought the Russian propagandist’s apartment
The winner of the auction was “Center for Unmanned Systems Research” LLC.
The company is known on the Ukrainian market under the brand name “General Chereshnya.”
It is a Ukrainian defense-tech company that develops and mass-produces unmanned systems for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
According to the company, its portfolio includes dozens of certified products, including various types of drones and systems for countering aerial threats.
What Will Happen to the Apartment
“General Chereshnya” stated that the apartment will not become a typical office or residence.
The company plans to create a space dedicated to new Ukrainian culture there.
“It was absolutely essential for us to take over his apartment for the public good,” company representatives explained.
The new space is planned to be dedicated to contemporary Ukrainian culture, particularly the work of:
- military artists;
- poets;
- writers;
- photographers;
- musicians;
- artists serving in the Defense Forces;
- authors reflecting on the experience of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
The company promises to present a detailed concept and format for the space at a later date.
A statement regarding the future of the apartment was published on the official page of “General Chereshnya.”
What Will Happen to Lebedev’s Belongings
After the confiscation, items that previously belonged to the Russian propagandist remained in the apartment.
“General Chereshnya” reported that they do not plan to use these items in the new cultural space.
The items are to be put up for a separate charity auction.
The company plans to allocate the proceeds from their sale to support the Ukrainian Marine Corps.
The list of items, auction terms, and the date of the auction have not yet been announced.
Where the 13.5 million UAH Will Go
The proceeds from the sale of the apartment will be transferred to the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression.
This fund finances projects related to Ukraine’s recovery following Russian attacks.
The funds may be used for:
- rebuilding damaged housing;
- restoring infrastructure;
- repairing schools and hospitals;
- rebuilding energy facilities;
- compensation for the consequences of Russian aggression;
- other recovery measures designated by the state.
Thus, the property of a person who supported the Russian invasion contributes funds toward addressing the consequences of this war.
How the apartment became state property
Artemiy Lebedev was subject to Ukrainian sanctions for supporting Russian aggression, making anti-Ukrainian statements, and participating in propaganda activities.
In 2023, the High Anti-Corruption Court granted the Ministry of Justice’s claim and seized his Ukrainian assets for the state.
Among the confiscated property was an apartment on Yaroslaviv Val in Kyiv.
After the court decision took effect, the asset was transferred to the state and subsequently included in the list of properties subject to sale.
The State Property Fund organized the auction.

Why Lebedev Was Sanctioned
Artemiy Lebedev is a Russian designer, blogger, and founder of a design studio.
In Ukraine, he is considered a propagandist due to his public support of Russian policy and the dissemination of anti-Ukrainian rhetoric.
Lebedev:
- supported the occupation of Ukrainian territories;
- repeatedly visited the occupied regions illegally;
- spread Russian propaganda narratives;
- justified the actions of the Russian authorities;
- publicly demonstrated contempt for Ukraine.
In 2022, he illegally traveled to occupied Energodar and filmed propaganda footage on the grounds of the seized Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant.
How the Sanctioned Apartment Was Sold
The State Property Fund organized the sale as an open online auction.
Companies and individuals were eligible to participate if they:
- registered on the electronic platform;
- submitted the required documents;
- paid the registration fee;
- had made a security deposit;
- had no legal restrictions on privatization.
The winner was the participant who offered the highest price.
The open format allows you to verify the progress of the auction, the bid amounts, and participant data in accordance with the system’s rules.
Why the winner must pay more than the bid amount
The final bid of 13,500,001 UAH is the price of the property itself as determined by the auction results.
In addition to this, the winner may incur additional expenses, including:
- taxes and mandatory payments;
- costs associated with registering ownership;
- notary services;
- registration fees;
- possible repair costs;
- maintenance of historic real estate.
Ownership is transferred to the buyer after all auction conditions have been met, full payment has been made, and the purchase agreement has been signed.
Who Was the Second Bidder?
According to the electronic system and Ukrainian media reports, the second bidder in the auction was Atomenergomashbud LLC.
Its final bid was 13.5 million UAH.
The “Center for Unmanned Systems Research” offered one hryvnia more—13,500,001 UAH—and won the right to purchase the apartment.
Such a minimal difference between the bids indicates intense competition during the final stage of the auction.
