Vodafone Experiences Service Disruptions Following an Attack by Russia: Which Services May Be Unavailable

Following a massive nighttime attack by Russia, some Vodafone Ukraine services have experienced disruptions. Subscribers may temporarily experience issues when using home internet, topping up their accounts, or contacting the call center. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing the company’s press office.
The company stated that engineering teams have been working since last night to restore the damaged infrastructure.
Which Vodafone services are experiencing disruptions
According to the company, temporary difficulties may affect:
- Vodafone home internet;
- certain landline services;
- mobile account top-ups;
- account balance inquiries;
- contact center operations;
- certain online services provided by the operator.
Service disruptions may not affect all subscribers. The situation depends on the specific area, the condition of network equipment, and the availability of power.

What Vodafone said
The company attributed the technical difficulties to the aftermath of overnight Russian shelling.
“Friends, due to the overnight shelling, there may be disruptions in the fixed internet network.”
Vodafone warned that the attack could have affected more than just home internet access.
“At this time, there may be temporary difficulties accessing certain services, including home internet, account top-ups, and the contact center.”
The operator’s engineering teams began repair work overnight.
“Our engineers have been on site since early this morning and are doing everything possible to restore service as quickly as possible.”
The company thanked subscribers for their patience and understanding.
Massive shelling on July 2
So far, 13 deaths have been reported. Additionally, 86 people were injured in the capital, 70 of whom were hospitalized.
Earlier, police reported that the shelling damaged and partially destroyed apartment buildings and private homes, non-residential structures, an emergency medical services substation, a business center, a market area, and parked cars.
In total, more than 20 residential buildings were hit across Kyiv. Rescue workers continue to operate at 15 locations.
