Attacks on oil refineries are having an impact: Long lines for gas in the Moscow region
19 June 13:11
Residents of several districts in the Moscow Region have reported gasoline shortages, lines at gas stations, and restrictions on the range of fuels available following drone attacks on the Moscow Oil Refinery, writes journalist Alexander Plyushchev. "Komersant Ukrainian" reports this, citing Russian propaganda media.
A resident of Serpukhov said that on the evening of June 18, only diesel was available at Teboil gas stations in the city, while at Gazpromneft gas stations, only AI-100 and diesel remained on sale. According to him, gasoline was available at small independent gas stations, but it cost about a quarter more than usual. At Rosneft gas stations, fuel was sold at standard prices, which led to long lines there.

Another resident of the Moscow region reported that a number of gas stations in the area either had no gasoline or were charging significantly higher prices. According to him, by midday yesterday the situation had begun to stabilize: large chain gas stations had returned prices to normal levels, but at independent stations, fuel prices had risen significantly. He also noted that within the first hour after reports of an attack on the Moscow oil refinery emerged, lines formed at gas stations. Fuel shortages were also reported in Vyshnyakovo. According to one eyewitness, by evening the nearest gas stations had run out of gasoline or were closed, despite their stated 24-hour operating hours.
A subscriber to the channel, who was on his way to Sheremetyevo Airport, reported a shortage of popular gasoline brands. He said that several large gas stations along the route were out of the standard AI-92 and AI-95 grades and were selling only premium fuels.
The fuel shortages may have been caused by a fire at the Moscow Oil Refinery. On the morning of June 18, Ukrainian drones attacked the refinery for the second time this week.
